Keating Godfrey and Greg Pask of Middlebury College invite you to join us at SpIN for evening blacklighting. We will attract insects – especially moths - to white sheets with UV light, so that we can observe them without harming them. Please do not wear bug spray, as it can severely limit what comes to the blacklights. Long sleeves and pants, and head nets, are effective ways to mitigate mosquito bites. We’ll begin with a campfire, s’mores, iced tea, and lemonade before the sun fully sets, and then move between three blacklight setups throughout the evening. Follow signs to the Sacred Circle, from the SpIN parking lot on Goshen Road.
